My mom had saved the "snood" she wore in her hair, and her favorite Military tailored 2 piece dress during those times. Padded shoulders and all. LOL! I think it's where I got my fascination (or at least one of my fascinations) with the Glamor of that era. The 50's had that Art Deco feel I have loved for years too.

But you can't beat the 40's.
