Here is a somewhat different rendition of the old standard covered by lots of artists. This video features motorcyles and scenes which look like they were actually taken near Route 66 in the desert around Barstow.

Cruising Youtube, I was surprised at all the artists who have covered "Route 66." I think of it as a jazz standard sung by Nat King Cole, but the Rolling Stones have covered it for much of their career.
