NSFW because your boss will likely fire you for listening to this crap :bash

Thank God it's over

I believe that the older gentleman has committed a felony in his heart :shifty

Zombie has a very good writeup of the video.

Compare Friday with Ke$ha's TikTok video. They are really the same, except Kesha is a rebellious drunken slut who shocks her family, announces she's not coming home that night and takes off on a booze and drug filled sex fest. Rebecca's Friday video is wholesome clean and fun: She hangs out with her friends, goes to school (unseen), and has fun fun fun at a tweener party. Her biggest concern? Front seat or back seat. Which lifestyle would you want for your young daughter?

Rebecca is 13. She choose a childish song because, surprise, she's a child. In interviews, she said she had a choice of songs, the other one was about adult love but "she hadn't experienced that yet".

Sure, the lyrics are inane, the music is atrocious and her singing is atonally mesmerizing. So what? Let her sing, it is what it is: A happy piece of fluff. I liked it. :thumbup

What 13 year old can drive? None. So she's in a car with kids 3+ years older than her, none of which are using seatbelts. :nerd

:twofinger

Further, her voice even through autotune sounds...awful. This strikes me as another over-indulged princess wanna-be whose parents are either trying to become pop stars by proxy or that have raised a child with delusions of grandeur that are unlikely to come to fruition.

Still...she's a kid having a good time and seems nice enough. Good for her getting some 16+ million people to listen/watch. :idunno

Im sure if she sang about the hoes and poppin glocks in richmond she would have made bank off that

Sounds like the tweener's answer to this classic:

Tom (who doesn't have a diner)
