Herbie looks like he stepped right out of a Florida retired living center, yet he sounds so cool playing what I believe was his first big hit. Check out the guitar player singing his solo as he plays it. I have heard recordings of jazz piano players doing the same thing. It is not an option for us horn players. :smilewink
