I got lucky and clicked to the Grammies Sunday night just in time for Jack White's performance. First he did an acoustic Love Interrupted with his all-girl band, The Peacocks. Then he ditched the acoustic guitar, grabbed an electric, booked over to the next stage to join his man-band and totally mesmerize the audience with the ass-bitter Freedom On 21.

Can't find the first one, but here's the second:

IMO Jack is highly underrated. I view him as a game changer. Such as Hendrix,Page Eddie VanHalen,Slash. He kinda created a new style/sound like the others mentioned.

Sorry, wrong title. It Might Get Loud is a documentary by the guys who did An Inconvenient Truth. It explores the beginnings, epiphanies and influence of three groundbreaking guitarists of their generations: Jimmy Page, The Edge and Jack White. Rent it man, you will dig it.

And yeah, it gets loud. Watch for the part where the three of them are in a room together, still totally apprehensive about this whole idea when Papa Page stands up, walks away, picks up an axe, slings it on low and starts an impromptu riffing of Whole Lotta Love. Edge and White light up, lighten up and totally dig the vibe, and the magic rolls out from there.

Masters, all three.
