Little Richard - Long Tall Sally (1956)

This song is so cool is so many ways. Drummer Earl Palmer plays a very hard and fast shuffle while the bassist Frank Fields plays in the off beat and Little Richard plays against the eights... very confusing tempo to try and play correctly. The guitarist had no choice but to play sweeps as to not lose his place in the song...

One would think that it is fairly straight forward song to play but trust me it is not, lot going on there and they make it seem so fricken easy, I mean look at Earl he looks almost half asleep.
