IMHO Marcia Ball is one of the few white gals who can sing R & B, possibly because she grew up in Louisiana. She is the tall lady in the middle of the photo.

I love Marcia Ball and she sounds fantastic with the other two ,but really Irma Thomas and Tracy Nelson are the ones with the pipes
 
Tracy Nelsons first lp was her on piano and Charlie Musselwhite on harp. She the frontes a band called Mother Earth and the quit the SF scene and moved to the south. She realeased a county lp doing classic songs with Scotty Moore(Elvis's early guitarist) and the faded away in the 80's.
