I ran into this by accident not too long around and was floored of the unique style, techniques , and cool all at the same time. There was a special on PBS that was very well put together than was really cool to watch and listen as well.

Hope you will find it fasinating as much as I had.

Very interesting. I saw a show on PBS where a man traveled to Tannu-Tuva (now called Respublika Tyva) to listen to the throat singers. It may have been the same one you watched. That is very cool where the Japanese narrator accompanies the singer on a saxophone.

The Mongolians look very much like Koreans. Does anyone know if the two languages are related?
