In 1998 the world-class keyboardist-vocalist-producer was inducted into the Rock ‘n Roll Hall of Fame as part of the original Santana band. The Smithereens
July 3, 2009
The Smithereens are known for writing and playing catchy 1960s-influenced power pop.

Pat DiNizio (vocals, guitar) was inspired to form his own band after listening to Buddy Holly, so in 1980 he put out an ad in a New York paper for musicians that were influenced by Holly-- which formed the original group that still performs today.

They are known for their hits “A Girl Like You”, “Blood and Roses”, and “Behind the Wall of Sleep”.

They have made a name for themselves as an excellent concert band, known to also play hits by the artists who have influenced them such as The Beatles and The Who.

Loverboy
July 10, 2009
From 1980 through 1987 Loverboy garnered four multi-platinum albums and numerous international Gold albums.

Their red leather pants, bandannas, and big rock sound defined the band’s trademark image and high-energy live show.

Their hit singles came one after another including “Working for the Weekend”, “Lovin’ Every Minute of It”, and “Turn me Loose”--many of which went on to become the anthems and party songs of an entire generation of rock concert going fans. Come and see why this band is a must-see live show!

Starship
starring Mickey Thomas
July 17, 2009
In 1979 Mickey Thomas joined the Jefferson Starship as lead vocalist. With his powerful vocals and a new sound, the group was renamed Starship and continued to record amazing hits including “We Built this City,” “Nothing’s Gonna Stop us Now,” and “Sara.”

Since their last appearance at the Boardwalk, Mickey Thomas has revamped his band and show with an expanded set list that includes the multiplatinum hits of Jefferson Airplane, Jefferson Starship and Starship! This along with the expanded band and addition of the beautiful, powerful female vocalist, Stephanie Calvert; they now deliver a show that includes all the hit songs and classics!

Eddie Money
July 24, 2009
‘70s rocker Eddie Money is celebrating nearly a quarter of a century as one of the hardest-working performers in rock ‘n roll.

Money’s hits in the ‘70s included “Baby Hold On” and “Two Tickets to Paradise,” but it was his hit eight years later, “Take Me Home Tonight,” that earned him a Platinum album.

Ray Parker Jr.’s live show is a fun filled, Rockin' R&B extravaganza of hit songs including “You Can’t Change That”, “A Woman Needs Love”, and “Ghostbusters”. Who You Gonna Call?

Patty Smyth and Scandal
August 21, 2009
Patty Smyth, both with her hit band Scandal and as a solo artist has always been, at heart, a rock and roll chick.

The group Scandal burst onto the music scene in 1982. Scandal’s hits include “Goodbye to You” a #1 MTV video and “The Warrior” which earned RIAA-certified platinum status.

Smyth’s solo career found her at her peak with hits like “Sometimes Love Just Ain’t Enough” and “No Mistakes”. In 2004 Smyth reunited with two original members of Scandal and a new rhythm section to create an awesome must-see show!

The Sweet
August 28, 2009
“Are you ready Steve?” lets you know it is time for “The Ballroom Blitz!” one of the mega hits of the ‘70s Glam Rock band that has been in the forefront of pop culture through radio, TV, move sound tracks, etc. After 15 years founding member Steve Priest is bringing the band back to North America with a rockin’ live show.
