12-28-68: I was home for Christmas vacation during my freshman year at Washington State University (Go Cougs!). I wonder what Sly and his group look like 45 years later.

This You Tube video is undated, but judging from the age of the trumpet and saxophone players and Sly's attempt to hide his lack of a thick Afro with a stylish hat, it is a ways removed from 12-28-68.
