Going back to the 80's...Argentinian band Soda Stereo was one of the few progressive rock bands from Latin America to have some not just regional but global success. The lead singer Gustavo Cerati died today, after suffering a stroke back in 2010 that left him in a coma, a buddy of mine from high school those many years ago turned me onto the band. RIP
