I made it about 13 seconds in and had to stop. Definitely Gary Jules. You can't even hear the vocals on the other track. You're bombarded with beeping noises and some weird synth track.

I like them both. Long time fan of Tears for Fears but I also enjoyed the very mellow second version. I heard the second version years ago on a TV show but never knew who performed it so thanks for sharing the version here.
