The Beatles - Lucy in the Sky with Diamonds

Picture yourself in a boat on a river
With tangerine trees and marmalade skies
Somebody calls you, you answer quite slowly
A girl with kaleidoscope eyes

Cellophane flowers of yellow and green
Towering over your head
Look for the girl with the sun in her eyes
And she's gone

Lucy in the sky with diamonds
Lucy in the sky with diamonds
Lucy in the sky with diamonds
Ah

Were you or anyone you knew able to identify all the people on the album cover?

I was shocked to learn that Lucy in the Sky with Diamonds stood for LSD. :laughing

The album, which celebrated its 50th anniversary this year, was released in the US the summer before my senior year of high school. It brings back all the memories of the British Invasion, which influenced music (British rock), fashion (the "Mod" look), television (The Avengers), and movies (James Bond) for a decade.
