The Boomers will remember the folk sound which was popular for a brief time in the 60's. While Peter, Paul, and Mary were probably the most reknown of these groups, I liked The Seekers. This is one of my favorite numbers. If you listen to the lyrics, you will realize it is a lullaby.
1968 Farewell Concert:
I guess "Farewell" was not permanent, as here they are in 1993. Note the age of the audience. They all probably watched the Farewell Concert live in 1968. :laughing
