Wilson Pickett - Mustang Sally

I won 2 tickets to see Wilson Pickett off of Easy punk 90.7fm UC Berkely in 2002. He was fantastic. The opening act was the Nick Gravenites Blues band. Nick was the singer for The Electric Flag who stole Wilson Picketts drummer back in the 60's. Buddy Miles left to start the Buddy Miles express before joing Jimi Hendrix's Band of Gypsies. Any back to Wilson. He had a pick up band that was awesome. They had matching uniforms, full horn section, a driving rhythm section calling "wicked" and answering "pickett" as he got on the stage. For a 60 something he had a geat voice, played for an hour and was gone.There is something cool about these artist who dress up as opposed to looking like they just got off the tread mill. Don't get me wrong I like the casual look , but the geezers know how to put on a show.
