I was recently reading about blues man Son House and Alan Wilson was mentioned. It seems Son House had been retired from music for over 2 decades. Mr Wilson somehow came to the attention of legendary producer John Hammond. The 22 year old was hired to teach Son House how to play like Son House. That whole band was full of blues scholars. The drummer Fido deLaparra lives in San Jose
